The Power of Comedy – In Life and on Stage

Feel the fear… and do it anyway, right? That’s the magic of stand-up comedy—stepping into the unknown, embracing the adrenaline, and turning fear into fuel. Comedy isn’t just about making people laugh; it’s a superpower that builds confidence, sharpens communication, and helps you own any room—whether that’s a stage, a boardroom, or a dinner table.

I’ve trained with the UK’s top comedy coach, Jill Edwards, and the legendary French master clown Philippe Gaulier. I’ve taken my one-woman show to the Edinburgh Festival, written, directed, and performed a three-person play at the Camden Fringe, and shared the stage with some of Europe’s most celebrated comedians. Through it all, I’ve learned that the skills of stand-up—timing, presence, storytelling, and fearlessness—are game-changers far beyond the comedy club.

I bring these skills to my workshops, using unconventional techniques from my background in creative meditation, improvisation, and performance. Skills which help break through self-doubt, embrace the inner clown, and communicate with impact—whether it’s to be funnier, more confident, or simply more at ease in front of an audience.
